The Shiv Bhojan Nutrition Program is one of the flagship initiatives of Dalai Lama Foundation, aimed at ensuring food security for economically vulnerable communities, including daily wage workers, migrant labourers, and underprivileged families.

Under this initiative, the Foundation supports the distribution of nutritious and affordable meals on a daily basis. The program not only addresses hunger but also promotes dignity and well-being among beneficiaries.

Through strong collaboration with government schemes and local stakeholders, the program reaches a large number of individuals every day, contributing significantly to improving nutritional standards in tribal and rural regions.The Shiv Bhojan Nutrition Program is a key initiative of the Dalai Lama Foundation aimed at addressing food insecurity among vulnerable communities, including daily wage workers, migrant labourers, and economically disadvantaged families.

Through this program, the Foundation ensures access to nutritious, affordable meals on a daily basis, helping individuals maintain their health and dignity. The initiative is implemented in collaboration with government schemes and local stakeholders to maximize reach and efficiency.

On average, the program serves around 200 beneficiaries every day, resulting in approximately 73,000 meals annually. Beyond food distribution, the initiative also promotes awareness about balanced nutrition and supports overall community well-being.

By consistently delivering meals to those in need, the Shiv Bhojan Program plays a vital role in strengthening food security and improving the quality of life in tribal and rural regions.
